What does DFHS C&V save when bounced?

Does it save the files (after bouncing) at 44.1/24 regardless of the recording environment? I'm recording in sonar at 96k/24 bit, so I wanted to see what happens to the files? If they are saved to 44.1/24, I guess when I import, sonar upsamples them to 96...

If that's the case, do you think it's better to work at the native sample rate of 44.1/24 in sonar as to not cause any errors while upsampling?

Please let me know.

Thanks.

In the bounce section of C&V there's a choice of 44.1/16 or 44.1/24

So when I take the files into Sonar, Sonar will upsample to 96 automatically?

DP automatically matches the sample rate, don't know about Sonar....I'm sure it does.

I'm pretty sure now that it saves at 44.1/24.

I think at this point, my choices are software based upsample (Sonar) or hardware based (Apogee rosetta).

I'm leaning towards the Rosetta, but not sure.

Can anyone comment or have any experience about if it would be better to let Sonar handle the DFHS upsampling from 44.1 to 96, or if I should let my appogee do it.

Thanks.
