Mac (error code -36)

I am getting this error code when trying to copy files to a DVD icon on my mac (os 10.3.5) for backups... any Ideas???

Sounds like your burner does not like the discs you are using

Yea I had this happen to me when I was copying large video files from a hard disk. Google the error code and you'll find out exactly what's up.. I believe mine was I was using the wrong format... Something like that.. Google it like I said and you should come up with a list of Mac error codes explained!

Google is unfortunately no help... it is a really generic I/O error...

I've got some folks over at the DUC helping ... we'll see!

yea- i just googled it and didn't get much back....

idk if this helps..but this is what helped me out

error -36 ioErr: IO error (bummers)
