RAM in an eMac enough to run an Mbox

Hey everyone. I just finished audio engineering school and was looking into purchasing a Mac and a Mbox. Don't have too much money and the lowest eMac fits my budget, but it only has 128 MB of RAM. Do you all think that's sufficient enough to run a multi-track Mbox session with effects and stuff? Or do you think that isn't enough andd I should get more RAM?

I'd increase that to 1 stick of 512. It's a $150 more (at the apple store, prolly cheaper elsewhere) but will help in the future if you decide to do soft synths/sampler or video work.

Leave the second slot open for adding another stick of 512 if you ever need it in the future.

That's my opinion.

When looking for a good cheap Mac try the Apple Store. They often have great deals on refurb computers. There is a eMac on there right now for $499 that I think would make a great MBox machine. And I also agree with the above statement, put as much ram into that bad boy as possible. I'd buy the refurb and stuff it with ram. Good luck!!
