your favorite limiter plug-in?

hi
my problem with l-2 and timeworks mastering comp.
is that they change the sound to much.
one takes away highs and one ads.
havent tried elephant yet-though.
any comments?

I've actually found that the Waves L1 is much better sounding than the Waves L2. Maybe it's just me, I don't know. You could also try the T-Racks plug-in (or standalone software). That's a pretty cool playtoy.

The times I've used the L2, it seems like a lot of digital distortion is being added to the signal. THe timeworks sounds a lot nicer to me. Seemed to be a little smoother and produce a more "satisfying" mix to my ears. But everyone listens to different speakers in different environments.
