Best speakers for a laptop?

Hello all,

I am starting to do more work at home since I got a g4 laptop. I use headphones when writing and then mix at the studio I work out of. More and more though, i have been wanting to get a pair of usb speakers to monitor instead of phones.

Can anyone suggest a relatively good pair?

I'm looking for speakers with a subwoofer and decent sound. I mix on NS-10's so uhh... you get the picture. Doesn't have to be perfect.

Also, what's the latency like with usb audio?
