How to play sounds on pro tools????

hOW DO I PLAY THE SOUNDS OR MUSIC FROM MY PC THRU THE PRO TOOLS HARDWARE.....IS THERE A WAY?

assign the Digidesign 1/2 as the the main system sound source in the Control Panel. If it does not give you this option go to www.digidesign.com and download the MME Helper. This small app allows any program you choose to access the digi driver.

Could you clarify...maybe step by step??? p.s. I have mbox1 and i downloaded the wavedriver for mbox but i do not exactly what to do...i follow the installation proseedures, but nothin??? Does pro tools have to be open to play.

you should able to see the hardware when choosing the "sound playback" in "sound and audio devices properties" in "control panel"...
you can just simply choose the mbox1 for the audio playback hardware...i had tried before.....
