steinberg V-STACK question

any steinberg V-STACK users here?

i need an application to host my vst instruments and route them to my creamware scope application via ASIO (on pc). but i want it in MULTICHANNEL.

there is a brainspawn FORTE application that does what i want - i can have different vst instruments on separate ASIO SCOPE channels - so i can mix them in scope (to be honest - in protools on mac, connected to scope with 4 adat cables...).

there is another application - xlutop's CHAINER. it's very simple and it can only mix many vst instruments to stereo output, so that's not what i need...

there is NO information in internet (i really tried to find it) how V-STACK really works . only slogans copied from steinberg site. from what i've seen on the screenshots it has a nice mixer with eq, effect sends, and it's cheaper (50 EURO) than FORTE (130$).

if i knew that it can route vst instruments to many independent asio outputs, like FORTE does, i would get it.

please, tell me...

V-stack works well on its own.......however, trying to use it with another application in the same PC would almost certainly lead to crash and burn and zero music made (IMHO).......

ok, i'm getting FORTE.

it's more expensive, but:

- has multiple ASIO outputs
- has audio inputs - so i can pass audio from protools via scope to forte and process it with vst plugz
- has advanced midi routing / mapping
- works with DirectX also

checked the demo version, works great
