Thread Starter | Will I have to reinstall all my software with the new version of Cubase I have?
I just picked up a copy of Cubase SX3 at Sam Ash. By the way, they are trying to get rid of all the old copies, and I got mine for half price 300 bucks. . I am hoping that I can just uninstall the old version, and install the new version, and everything will all ready be there, including my projects I was working on.

you should not have to reinstall anything and your projects should be fine as well. But the key word there is SHOULD. I would back up everything just in case something goes wrong. Its a good excuse to back up all your tracks that way if somehing goes haywire with your computer, you dont loose everything.
