| HELP!!! DIRECT MONITORING on Terratec Phase 22
Hi guys,
I've just bought a terratec Phase 22 soundcard and I have a BIG problem. On the first sight it appeared that all is just fine. I've got a decent playback, fine input, there weren't any instalation problems, but... When I tried to record vocal on my existing arrangment in Cubase SX I detected a problem with monitoring. I have regular input indicator, but when I put "wave source" I can't hear input signal but Cubase is recording it and when I put source like "Analog in" i hear voice(and Cubase also recording) but I don't hear arrangment. I've tried to combine direct monitoring in Cubase and direct monitoring in terratec control panel, but unsuccesfull. None of the combinations is giving a good result. I even changed buffer size in Asio control panel, but nothing changed. I didn't get direct monitoring (of course). The nearest result I got is wave playback and input which I can hear but with big delay when the Asio set to 1024. In this case, the playback is smooth, but when I set Asio to 64 or 128 where input latency is the smallest, my playback suffers (limit is 5 to 6 mono chanels and few plugins). Actualy, I don't have a DIRECT MONITORING, only software. How do I get it? . I forgot to tell you that I have the latest driver V 5.21. I've tried everything but I don't find a corect solution. Please, help me.
Happy New Year
