Well, at least you only have to pay the difference in price ($300 USD). Or, you can downgrade to 7.0 for the time being. However, I think the jump to 48 stereo tracks makes the cost worth it. I really dig TL Space, too.

If you really, really want to stay at 7.3, don't want to buy the upgrade, AND still need to see a TC counter, then you can use the old TC template trick. Use a TDM or DV Toolkit LE blank session that has the subcounter set to Timecode and the nudge value set to Frames. When you open that session in LE (non-DVTK), the subcounter and nudge value will be preserved. But, since you already have DVTK 1, then downgrading is probably a better option.

hmmm. interesting. the subcounter trick works. it seems to be off by a couple of frames. ill have to double check session start and other stuff to make sure the timecode is right.

but thanks. that helped.

Having to pay extra for a timecode ruler sucks...

This shouldn't be features we have to pay for!!!

The same goes for the lousy MP3 option.
