I have limited experience with Audition, primarily because I couldn't stand the work flow and layout. BUT, the latest version is very nice. To me, it is much more user friendly and just felt easier to use. Maybe because it's now laid out more like PT, and that's what I'm use to. These are just my impressions from messing with the demo. I'd definitely check it out if I were you. The demo is good for 30 days. Plenty of time to really get to know the program.
