Thread Starter | Open Source Audio for Linux and Mac OS X
Hi, so far I have used Samplitude under XP. I recently got a Macbook pro (I can still run samplitude... no problem with that), but I got curious and interested in open source software. I tried Ardour, which seems to work fine as a recorder and I figured out that there are programs like rosgarden, jazz and MuSe for Linux avaiable. I am not an expert in this field, is there anything available for Mac os X open source as well? Does anyone know, whether one can easily convert the source code for linux into a source code for mac? Thanks for your feedback and information! Best, Leif |
