PRO TOOLS 7.3 + REASON (REWIRE); IMPORTING SESSIONS FROM NEWER VERSION OF PRO TOOLS

I'm running the new Pro Tools 7.3 on a G4 867mHZ Powerbook w/ 1GB ram. Anyone else out there having problems using Rewire and running Reason? I get a solid 3 minutes in before everything crashes. I tried reinstalling the OS, tried taking out all my plugins, everything...

Any suggestions?

MORE IMPORTANTLY: Anyone know if it's possible to open a session saved with PT 7.3 on a computer with an earlier version of PT (w/out just importing the audio files)? I'm thinking about reinstalling PT 7.1 until 7.3 gets its bugs out.

I'd also like to use my friend's studio's computer, but that's got PT 6.1. So I can obviously important session data recorded on his computer to my PT 7, but is there any way to open up PT 7 session files on PT 6.1?

Digi almost always includes a "save as" function where you can choose what version of tools you want to save a session file for to maintain backward compatibility. Of course you lose the new functionality on the older sessions, but that's to be expected.
