I'm currently a full time graphic designer with a burgeoning and rather unpredicted career as a bass player on the cards, despite playing lead guitar for 20 years.

At 35, I'm currently deciding whether or not it would be a good thing to quit the day job and just play bass 3 nights a week and do a little freelance design.

I'm trying to find something wrong with the idea....

At the tender age of 35, I went back to school last fall, studying electronics. I have absolutely no talent in music, it's just a dear hobby. I do have some (paid) DJ gigs though, which help to fund my vinyl buying addiction.

By day I am a measurements engineer, got my EE in 1988.

By night I am a rock-n-roll rebel in my project studio.

I don't do music for a living, my day job pays for the music toys.

I'm an online session drummer, based near London. I've also recently branched out into "consultancy", giving arrangement ideas and second opinions to bands.

What does former male model (hetero) mean?
You only were in hetero mags & not gay ones? You were formerly a hetero male model but now you are a gay one?

Just not sure about why the bracketed hetero.

At day I work in a local music instrument shop (responsible for stage pianos, synths and prof. audio gear etc.)

At night and at the weekend I produce some house remixes for different artists (e.g. Groove Addix, DJ Geehan, DJ Prince, Sophia May, Layla Jane etc.)

Hope I could live alone from music again (like in the 90s I did)
