So stolen songs can now be traced -- but what about movies, software, etc.?

It is wonderful that stolen songs now can be traced by payartists.com, and other services.

But what about stolen software, movies, books, etc.? In these cases there are no waveforms to trace?

Youtube has "fingerprinting" technology yet only paid Rick Astley $16 for 154 million plays. That is GOOGLE that doesn't want to pay him more.

So yeah, fingerprinting technology means nothing.

I'll be very surprised if Pay Artists works as advertised and twice as surprised if they still exist in a year.

I do believe musicans and industries ( including engineers deserve a modest
life style .

but in actuality , if someone is pushing to tax , someone maybe pushing
to take

in reality how many people would trade a song to build a house
I do understand its collective income

some how the only way to achieve peace is through fair trade

peace achieved through equality

so are those people that drive over my pot hole thieves

or was I just doing my part to make a better community

( loop hole < if one where to drovesover my pot hole its tec legal an not stealing bowl of shit

Sorry if this is off-topic,
So many PB Topics was,nt sure where to post it really lol.....
I have just stumbled on this in the last hour, while looking for an external hard drive.
It is a media drive/player and this is the first line from the sales pitch...
"External multimedia hard drive with built-in BitTorrent client"
I have never seen this before, maybe its a fairly innocuous type of thing but when you are used to having Bit-Torrent associated with all thats illegal, it throws you a bit when a Top Company has it in their sales pitch.....
Taken at face value anyhow.
I know that the technique of bit-torrent in itself is not the problem.. like i say, never seen it in a product before
