Thread Starter | Beatles cover for indie release....
Hi everyone...just wondering if its requires for an indie release to get permission and stuff to release a beatles cover with a small run (1000) cd in a small country (Greece). Whats the usual procedure for this kind of thing?

I am not sure how it would work in Greece, but here in the States it cost a colleague of mine circa $100 for the rights to do a 1000 count CD run of an album, which included a cover of "Paperback Writer".

Actually here in the states you have to pay the mechanical royalty rate which I think is .09 per song.
