watch me

tutt

see how easy that was?

what browser are you using? what have you tried?

In my browser, (safari or IE) I just click on the smilie and the text name for that smilie is instantly pasted into my message. When the message is displayed the VBulletin software puts the smilie in. The smilies are really text that act as code.

If you were to type h e h without the spaces you would get =

this can be a problem
if you wish to type "t u t t i - fruiti " because "t u t t" without the spaces = tutt
same thing with b o i n g without the spaces =

don't try to put more than 10 smilies in your message.

to post a picture, click on the 'manage attachments' button. This is located a few scrolls down from the place where you type your message. You will get a pop-up that lets you browse to the picture (let's say it is on your desktop) select that picture and click the "upload" button. When it has uploaded, close that window.

If you send one picture up, it will appear inline to your message. If you send more than one they will appear as links.

attachments don't have to be photos, they could also be mp3s and other stuff. The full list of what is OK is in the 'manage attachments' pop-up

by the way, there is a 'disable smilies' checkbox, just above the manage attachments button, make sure that checkbox is UNCHECKED.

Now I get it!!! I could never understand that just the text word would make it appear.

I guess my pictures are all over the minimum size. I was able to post one today but I had to make it tiny. How are these guys posting HUGE pictures?

Thanks so much

They are actually not huge. If you post an ucompressed image it can take up very much space but if you compress it to a jpg file you can have a size of say 800x600 and it still not take up more space then 40k or something.

Now post your sluttiest picture!
