Kimya Dawson = Worst "music" ever?

I'm usually not one to simply bash artists blatently, especially without specific quantifiable reasons for doing so...but...MY GOD. When my friends put on Kimya Dawson, it truly makes me not want to be their friends anymore. I wouldn't wish that upon my worst enemy.

Trite, meaningless lyrics based solely upon "clever" rhyme schemes and shock value...sounds like she sucked down 10 packs of Newports before she got in front of the mic...which sounds like it was broken at the time. Out of tune, out of time, off beat, barely considered "singing..." is this even music? I would honestly rather listen to claws on a chalkboard.

I, of course, give her props for doing what she loves and what she believes in, and being successful in doing so. I also give her engineer lots of props for actually sitting thru her songs. But does anybody actually like this crap, or are my friends the only ones? It just sounds like the worst open mic performance I've ever heard...

You've obviously NEVER heard Ministry's album "Twitch," or Joey Belladonna's solo album (I can't remember the name of it). Honestly though, Twitch takes the prize.

What, did Kimya do backup vocals for Ministry? Is that how she got a solo record deal?

Have you heard the new female British hip hop artist? Her name is something like "Lady Union Jack" or something to that effect. Anyways, it's pretty bad too. But, if you can find a copy of Ministry's "Twitch" to listen to, you should because it's the worst thing I have ever heard, and I've got an impressive collection of crappy music.
