| ARGG!! Taylor Ground buzz! I'm getting a serious ground buzz when using my Taylor 414 through my PT hardware. I checked the outlet with a "ground fault detector" and im good on that end. What else should I be checking?? It's the type of buzz that goes away when I touch the end of the 1/4 inch that goes into the guitar. any help?

What DI are you using? Any other DI's you could try? I find that at least one of ours (U5, 610, Fearn, LTD1, Germ, JDI Radial) will often work better for some instruments than others regarding buzz. The Radials in particular have an amazing ground lift that seems to knock the buzz out of nearly anything. I'm a big fan of that box lately. | |

| I have this problem as well. I basically have an Eq preset on my plugin to get rid of the buzz. which also ruins the sound a bit, but I blend in the mic'd guitar and it sounds alright. Im going to talk to someone about this problem the next time im in the music store. |
