Angry HOLY SHIT IT'S HOT OUTSIDE!!! (Pissing and moaning follows)

I moved from San Diego to Dallas (yes, yes, I know, I know) and I'm regretting it, at least as far as the weather is concerned.

Last night at midnight it was 98º and humid as a hocky goalie's gloves. This blows. My electricity bill is $500 this month.

OK, I'm done. Thanks for your time.

Yeah, well it's no better here. Feeling like I'm being broiled everytime I step outside.

It's hot as hell here. Worse still, I have to be in the valley today, so it's hot and shit.

Holy shit Falconer, you're right!

Why don't you come over to my studio tonight, and we'll figure out a way to chill it down.

Yah, Hollywood to Austin, TX. WTF? It's sooooo M.F. hot I can't believe it.

In So Cal, you go in the shade, it's cool. If there's a breeze, it's cool. When it's night time, the air gets cooler.

Here, it's always friggin' hot.

Angry More pissing and moaning...

On top of the heat, we've had like zero rain, so my friendly neighborhood water utility has enacted "madatory water restrictions", which is a fancy way of saying "if you flush your toilet more than two times a day we're gonna tax your ass with a usage penalty."

Consequently, my acre of grass is as yellow as Bert's ballsack and my water bill is as much as my electric bill.

Oh, and my weather widget shows clear skies and 100º for the rest of the week. Shit.

Good thing I have a plan:

Things aren't any better here in Toronto. It's currently a very humid 91.4 degrees. Last night I left the studio space at just after midnight, and even with the climate control on (it's a commercial building), you could STILL feel the moisture in the air on the way from the office space to the elevator. Ick.

I lived in Houston for 7 years - now I live in southern sweden.

You swedes have absolutely no idea what Houston in July is.

Your CD's literally melt if you leave them in the car.

There is nothing like getting in to a black leather carseats while wearing shorts in Houston in the summer.
the only thing equally painful is biking for 30 minutes to work in february in umeå.

Malmö is absolutely fantasic right now - sorry guys.

When I was a kid back in New England (lots o snow there in the winter) I rode my bike and it was hard to brake on the ice.

I wish I had studded biketires then. So the next best thing was to take the rubber off and place spikes thru the rims Try that the next time you have to bike in the winter!

You'll probably appreciate this. I remember watching these guys on TV when I was a kid. There was one guy who had been run over by a whole pack of motorcyles sporting spiked tires. He was pretty grizzly looking.

Not great. TanTan and I were up in Haifa just yesterday visiting our crack Russian DIY tech (me picking up my custom 1176 with 1272 output trannies), all was quiet, but this morning it kind of got crazy, huh?

REALLY hoping I'm not going to get a call to drive that army truck this week until...who knows.

I'm sure our Lebanese gearslut brothers are sharing a similar worry.

Hope this simmers down soon!

It's only begun my friend. I hate to say it, but it's true. $hit's hitting the fan now, especially after the latest rocket attacks. They just killed 8 Israleans (did I speeeeelll that right?)

I can see Israel launching a major war campaign, wiping Hamas off the map entirely. France is allready sending over military, RIGHT NOW!!
