Dad is going in for surgery tomorrow...

My dad is going in for surgery tomorrow. He should be ok, but as always it's a risk. Please keep him in your thoughts/prayers.

I'm home now, and he's home recovering.
The surgery went really really well, but afterward he asked for some pain meds in recovery and they gave him some demoral. Well his breathing stopped. They got him back and stuck a breathing tube down his throat. He spend 3 days in ICU and a week total in the hospital.

He's home now though, and on his was to a speedy recovery thank God. It was a very un-expected thing, and very very scary. Quite a bonding moment for me and my paps though, which was nice. He's not one to express his "love" if you will. My wife and I were the only ones there with him too. The rest of the family is in Florida and Colorado, so thankfully we could make it out. It would have sucked if he was alone though all that.

Thank you all very much for your comments. I really appreciate the support.
