$130 sale, including shipping, $123 shipping charge.

Good thing I wasn't attached to that guitar

The buyer should have paid the shipping charge. If you are selling things postage paid it is your fault.

Nope. It's your mistake. Actually, it's a newbie mistake on Ebay. Shipping charges should ALWAYS be confirmed BEFORE listing the item and ALWAYS paid

You'll know next time.

Yep.

I learned the same mistake. First time selling on ebay I listed two guitars, an amp, and some other random stuff.

Put something like $20-40 for each items shipping (funny me, right?). The amp sold for WAAAAY more then I expected (which I now regret because I bet it was some kind of vintage gear (I was a foolish High schooler at the time)) so I still walked away with a fair amount of money overal, but I actually lost money selling one of the guitars because of the shipping costs.

Oh geez I still remember that woman's face at the post office as a young brat when I came to ship a few items for the first time....after seeing the shipping costs.

"....it's your first time doing this eh?"
