I just can't seem to stop buying microphones lately. They're just so addicting. I keep putting them up, and thinking "oh, that's a nice color", and then I run out and buy more. They're just so much more fun than any other piece of equipment, and they're cooler, too, because the more time I spend positioning them just right, the less time I need to spend messing with anything else. If I could just do everything with mic placement and automation, I'd gladly get rid of every other tool. Well, except Valhalla and my MP, because it doesn't really sound like "EQ" to me.
