| Lives for gear | corporate studios?!
hey everyone here in the moan zone-thanks for being such a great online family.. i have a question- is there such a thing as a studio thats run in a corporate fashion? like EMI was back in the 60s?? how would i go about applying to start as an intern somewhere and hope and pray that i advance that fancy corporate ladder? how does someone go about landing an internship with atlantic records? sony? etc. etc. just mere questions--i'd just like to know how someone gets those kind of jobs? |

The Hit Factory shut down. There is a branch in Miami (Criteria), but it's not quite the same as the NY studio. To me, it was the greatest studio in the world Their list of albums/artists was sur-real.There are still some great studios in NYC. I'm sure some of the locals will chime in on what's left up there.
