Someone "suggested you like" this

They did no such thing, they just want me to click on something.

Someone "hopes you won't think of this as arm-twisting, badgering or coercion, but damn you do it!"

The very meaning of language is being pirated these days...

Make up your own mind... A/B joelpatterson against several other candidates then like or don't like whatever your little heart desires.

Peace

Actually I would settle for being your favorite Joel Patterson amongst all my competing namesakes... Google it, it's scary!

You have to be careful saying that because someone is going to claim you're just trying to pimp your Joel Patterson over your competitor's Joel Pattersons...
Personally I'm waiting for the BLA Joel Patterson deluxe mod so all the stupid posts on gearslutz suddenly are clever and funny.

Yeah, he wanders the street like a panhandler asking for sound instead of money.

I have read this thread before. There's a surfing author name Joel Patterson. Tony Maserati has no reason to fear me I think we also did this thread back in the politics section. I have spent waayyyy too much time on ths board.

Yeah, I think so. I don't even know what I'm doing here. I don't record music. I don't play an instrument. I don't even like music. The last live performance I saw was my son's 3rd grade orchestra concert, and I hated it, so I made him quit. I was relieved when the local alternative station quit playing music and switched to all-Spanish talk. Anyone remember when MTV used to show videos? Good riddance! Lifestyle TV is infinitely more entertaining. It's not like anybody good looking enough for HD TV can play an instrument anymore anyway. If we had to watch the few musicians who can afford to make an HD video, we'd be stuck watching decrepit old farts like Sting, Bono, and Madonna over and over again. Is the music industry dead yet? I sure hope so. It was starting to smell an awful lot like mothballs and Vicks VapoRub.

Please put a space between the 'u' and the '?'

That would coincide rather nicely with the space between my ears.

I once clicked "Like" on "Joelpatterson - Alchemist" and my gold coins turned to lead.

Why or more importantly, how did you do that?

That's just garden variety metallurgy, there-- the subatomic nuclei of gold and lead share a counter-valence ring that's very susceptible to gamma loading-- no, actually when you weren't looking I spray-painted them with "brushed metallic lead" paint I picked up at Home Depot.

And Mr. Kafka-- it's well known, your whole tendency to be dyspeptic about the world and all its failures... didn't I read one of your stories once, a ghastly nightmarish allegory, "The Third-Grade Orchestra Concert"?

Speaking of orchestras, wouldn't it be neat to go to a symphony to see a genuine rock orchestra ?

You know, the sedimentary section alongside the metamorphic section alongside the igneous section.

It would be one of the few rock concerts one could safely attend without going deaf.
