Ok, Ok, lets have some typically serious GS questions that will fix this possible lack of credibility:

I have SM 57 and great B preamp. Which plugging will make me sound like a cross between John Lennon and Elvis Presley?

Aaaahhh, that's better. To answer you're question, you need to have a deepish voice in the first place, put some ADT across it, and enjoy For the full Elvis experience, I suggest you put on an awful lot of weight.

Lennon did not have a deepish voice. Or is my tape recorder speeding up? Do I have to grow sideburns. I already have aviator shades (€ 2.- from a pound shop).

Sorry, what I meant was, Elvis had a deepish voice, then add Lennon's ADT.... Sideburns are not necessary, although your street cred will go through the roof if you do grow them. Jarred Christmas is living proof of that.

Best sounding midi cable? Oh that's easy! The one with the XLR/Cannon on one end and the electrical plug on the other.

They do titanic week up in Belfast. Complete with an MTV rock extravaganza on the quay. Whole event is to me in a profoundly sick taste. What next? rock concert for a Hiroshima week?
And Mr. A.Rieu seems to be a meister of schmalz, for all his no more than competent violin playing.

EDIT: Just realized that given the anniversary of the Titanic's sinking, the video was a very bad idea. I'll remove it. If I've offended anybody, I sincerely apologize.

Indeed.
Even if it was not for dubious Belfast council, vid of Mr Rieu, full orchestra and choir playing "Nearer My God to Thee" over picture of sinking ships and drowning people kind of Monty Pythonish.
