IF i see another thread title labelled badly Im gon..

Ok so this is a personal thing and i dont expect y'all to agree. I'm so tired of reading thread title as something like ' Need to obtain a Good audio interface' --> you the click in to suggest some niiiiice interfaces..but no you have been rick rolled once again!

for 50 bucks..

I feel like responding..but ..you know..like i said it's just a personal pet hate..

OK vented.

Any thread I make that might be useful to someone else I try to give it a name that would be easily found in a search. That's my pet peeve with thread titles - not enough good and searchable names.

I laugh at threads titled "help", I LOL at threads titled "HELP URGENTLY NEEDED".

At least on this forum you can put your mouse over the thread title and a popup will show the first few lines so that can help you figure out whether it is worth clicking on or not.

The world is full of people who thought they would never need to know how to spell, proper use of grammar, or how to write a cohesive sentence, let alone a paragraph. If only they had paid attention in high school English class.

I feel your pain...

I hate it when the thread title doesn't match the content of the thread or the direction it's heading in, like you were saying about microphone preamps for hooking up to direct boxes to transfer analog 34 track into Por Tools... or when people intentionally tipo? I know they're doing it on porpoise or when they change topics and meander randomly through a bunch of thingees and can't stay on topical antiseptics are highly overrated and speaking of the Pittsburgh Penguins, does anyone believe Sidney Crosby actually deserves all that hype? I mean sure, his father Bing was deserving but then again he was a genius at overdubs and that guitar he invented for his friend Lester was pretty cool but on the other hand the overdubbing couldn't have taken place

without a good $50 audio interface.

I always hate the 'what' interface or mic questions. The question should be worded as to 'which' since there is a choice between several. I know, I am a stick in the mud!

Shouldn't all those "help me..." or "just starting out, recommend me..." threads be moved to the new newbie area?

That would make actual sense, but there comes in my pet peeve with GS:

Posters not knowing which forum to post their questions in. You can't just post a new thread from the main page, so they must feel like "whatever, this'll do"...

I saw two threads concerning the "which" Qs inside the support section. I'm kind enough to tell them to post elsewhere, and naive enough to believe they will realize and remember.
