Anyone else annoyed by this internet blackout?

Stupid internet mini blackout. How am I supposed to track things on Craigslist or look things up on Wikipedia when they're closed down for the day? As an American, I've been conditioned to get things fast (like when I go to Burger King for a Big Mac!). Now I have to wait a day?!

Since we can't talk about it here, does anyone know a forum that has a civil discussion about this whole SOPA, blackout, "death of the internet" crap?

Hopefully posting this thread isn't stepping on any anti-piracy-modding toes. If it does, please delete it, etc etc.

I just noticed myself.
But isn't that their point- to say it's a risk?

I think it's ok to mention. Gearfreq.com (set up by some former GS Politics Forum guys) has a couple of threads on it.

I remember someone who did that, "can I get a Big Mac and chips?" . . . "you'll have to go to McDonalds for that mate"

Gonna try out a SOPA open thread here - if it gets too hot though it'll get locked down in a hurry so be nice!

Thanks!
