Monster Cable take down Gear slutz?

Im reading Monster Cable wants "Rogue sites" taken down including craigs list and is donating tons of cash to SOPA. Will Monster Cable also try to shut down gear slutz? Is this really going as far to kill used gear purchases?
I quit buying Monster Cable 3 years ago and I returned $150 of Monster Cable crap to best buy that my friend wanted me to install his home theater with.
I sure hope Monster Cable wont be trying to go after gear slutz also.
Iv had an entire project ripped off and copied my self but you actually have to be a member of MPAA to get any support.
Pretty much monster cable is completely against any used gear purchases and 100% of my gear is used from ebay and craigs list.

Uuugh, Techdirt is one of the main propaganda organs of the anti IP lobby.
Tread carefully when assuming anything in that blog is fact.

Not the first time and certainly not the last for them.

I'm glad your post about SOPA got thru. The mods here at GearSlutz censored my post about SOPA and how it could possibly be defeated. It was in the Good News Channel, but they locked it without even a warning to me.

So all I can conclude is that GearSlutz mods are in favor of censorship.

Maybe they are in favour of creativity...... but anyway, I highly doubt their censoring of your thread had anything to do with their attitude to SOPA.

We're limiting SOPA talk because it inevitably goes political which is against the forum rules. I realise it's a big issue, but we're also a UK-based site and as of yet we're not sure if/how SOPA affects us.

There is active behind-the-scenes discussion about our moderation policy with regards to this topic and we'll update you with any new info, but for now because these threads inevitably go nasty we have to limit their presence, sorry!
