Used Gear sellers..

My one and only moan is to used gear sellers who advertise the item
pictured turned on, but send me the item without the mains cable..

Happens to me so many times...

How tight are people ????

maybe its because they think you have boxes of iec mains cables in your studio collected over the years

I know I do .........

them and old noisy 1/4' unbalanced cables . I am sure they multiply too in some sort of weird quantum entanglement anomaly .

I remember selling a nord rack 3 to someone and he freaked out that it didnt have the standard 2 pin mini power lead . I told him no worry ill send it over but in the meantime you can use the same type of cable from anything . he emailed back saying he was using his DVD power cable but was worried sick it was going to blow up because it was a cable off a different device!

I agree they do multiply but over the years have now mostly gone out the door with gear I have sold or in a bag somewhere never to be found again..

I just think if your selling a piece of equipment, put in a mains cable for the buyer..
