My laptop is cracked and hardly runs. The CD drive doesn't work an I do a majority of my work on it (not audio). I can't afford to get a new laptop, yet I always find money to buy more and more gear for my studio!

I like all their stuff. Pretty much anything that gets slagged on this forum for being overproduced is my bag.

I also don't care about these real records old people talk about. I think modern vinyl is gimmicky.

I also would rather watch Law and Order than any other TV show.

and...

I'm a Toronto Maple Leafs fan.

I still use 14 yrs old sound blaster live value, record everything 44/16 through the small line-in hole and tell my clients I use "emu dsp audio interface".

By day I often listen to music I don't care for for a living, and by night I often play music I don't care for for the rest of my living. I often replay parts (to songs I don't care for) and tell the drummer it's just edited....

When something comes in that I love though it's all worth it. Even the crappy part is better than a real job.

I am a guitar player and love the tone and feel of a real amp and guitar. but I'm drawn to the auto-tune guitar... the idea of not having to tune a guitar constantly, or deal with intonation issues, or ******s who can't play or tune their axes seems like a dream come true.

In high school, I bought a bunch of eggs and went door to door asking for donations for a "Youth group retreat." The eggs were a symbol of us growing up and "breaking out of our shells." I didn't even go to church. And then I used all the money on movies and junk food.

So ... yeah ... there it is.
