When the !@#$ am I going to learn...

...not to accidentally send emails to the wrong people???? tutt

I forwarded a friend a RIDICULOUS email I received from a client, with my comments on top basically saying "PLEASE ****ING SHOOT ME NOW" in 24 point font. Guess what happens next, I reply to said client with my remarks copied in the body of the email.

I called them up, apologised and explained why I am so frustrated with them, which went well, but jesus, I've got to STOP doing that! It's like the 2nd time this year. RIDICULOUS. Some one SHOOT ME.

(Please tell me some one else has done this....)

Smile

I feel you.

That's happened to me once or twice, not in such extreme circumstances - I once forwarded a really cutesy note from my wife to one of my attorneys. When I called him up, he was laughing, and at first I had no idea what he was laughing about. Then he started repeating my wife's note to me He was cool about it, then told me about his own language/ pet names he and his wife had for one another.

I've had two embarassing moments like this on my cell phone, once when I was on a 3-way, and thought I was on a 2-way - that was REALLY bad. It was actually REALLY strange. I hung up (call waiting) with one business partner, with whom I was negotiating, then went back to another business partner on the other line - and I'm talking, and talking, and suddenly I realize, by some miracle of science, I'm talking to the previous partner, and she's heard everything I was saying about her. Needless to say, we were not getting along at that point, and were in the throes of a heated negotiation - bad, really bad - mostly just extremely shocking and embarassing - it wasn't like she didn't know everything I felt about her already.

The other, when I thought I was disconnected (hung up) and continued talking with the other person in the room - that wasn't so bad.

OOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOPSSSSSSSS

just do what i did and make a public blog and bash the bands you record there. if it's public, they think you're at least half joking. e-mails are another story.
