| Gearslutz.com admin | Bass Pod Pro & external 48k word clock?
It is faulty as a design and doesnt work right? That's what I heard. And have discovered for myself yesterday I wanted it to 'lock' to my house clock, but switching it to "External" results in a stop of all signal. Switched to the correct 'internal' sample rate produces AES output but with aggrivating clicks and HF distortion from poorly synced WC. Anyhow screw it, I will record a DI via an Evil twin (but also record the analog out of the Pod for monitor) and will reamp it all later using speaker cabs etc... grudge

hmmm... I have not tried it at 48K, but Mine locks to 44.1 without a problem. As a side note, I use the analog outs into my bass recording chain 99.9% of the time anyhow, as it allways sounds better.. YMMV

I am in a deadline intense mix, but as soon as I get a sec I will check it out.. I am curious to know as well, as my next OD/Mix project is at 48K and I would rather not find this out in front of the client/players... |
