Thread Starter | Ilok costs user and vendors a lot of money and hassle. Did it have any impact on the warez scene, ... So why bother? There is limit business case for using ilok!

Waves did me a big favour in being so out of touch. I upgraded to 64bit last year and didn't realize by doing so I was losing my Waves plug-ins. But I soon found they had been a crutch for me and with some learning and judicious application of more modern plug-ins, I was able to do all I had been doing with Waves and more. I am a far better mixer now then when I was using them. I try to rely less on plug-ins these days and am better off for it. Good lesson - bye bye Waves and thanks for saving me a lot of $$ !

| Wow - I've just updated to W9 - wicked - no iLok, but you can move licences to be available on other computers - top. It's so nice to open C6 and have it pop straight up with no bridge window - yum. Nearly there for a fully 64 bit Logic setup.... Bye bye bit-bridge soon we hope..... |
