All of a sudden Amazon.com has this default setting where if you try and download a tune you bought, you have to jump through a bunch of extra web pages and menus of something they are calling a Cloud Drive. It only lets you download one tune at a time, and they are NOT organized according to how recently you downloaded them, so you have to hunt for each tune.
It remembers everything you have downloaded so now you have the extra responsibility of deleting previous downloads just like email.
But the worst part is...
If you delete your cookies or update/change browsers, eventually you are locked out of downloading your own paid-for tunes!
This has happened to me even though I only use two computers and two browsers (both FireFox). All I did was long ago set the browser to delete cookies on exit. (It's been that way forever). And I maintain my FireFox up to date with updates. So now Amazon thinks I'm running more than 8 different computers and has locked me out of my own purchases.
It's bad enough that they won't do 320 kbps MP3's or FLAC downloads. This is the last straw. I'm not buying MP3's from them anymore.
I tried to opt out of the whole Cloud Drive bullsh*t but their web design fails so my settings wouldn't stick.
Never again, Amazon, never again!
