| I wish it was 1989 when I'm in a club An old friend called today - come see my band. The guy is a great drummer, so I figure I'll go and check things out. WTF! A bunch of guys starring at their shoes, sporting cool jewlery and singing songs about being depressed and hurt feelings. Bring back the hair bands - the over-sized drum kits - the songs about sex drugs and R&R. This new shit is borring. You are allowed to move from the exact position you took when you first went out on stage. |

| Lives for gear | "Come see this band, they're amazing" usually means "Dude, I'm so drunk I can't feel my ears..." Seriously, I'm going to have go to agree except most club/bar bands in 1989 were shitty too... Can we just admit that good music is more rare than a chick that does unmentionable acts? |

| Funny, I would equate everything on the radio today to everything on the radio in the mid to late 1980's. Minus the good stuff. |
