Here's a rather weird yet very talented indie rock band from Vancouver. They have a uniquely impulsive songwriting style which throws conventional congruity out the window : it's basically 21st century avant garde / new wave. Acoustic Set : Mother Mother - "Original Spin" Acoustic High Quality - YouTube BODY OF YEARS-Mother Mother - YouTube Studio Albums : Mother Mother - O My Heart - YouTube Mother Mother - Baby Don't Dance - YouTube Mother Mother - Hayloft - YouTube Every song of theirs is quite different, leading to a rather erratic and eclectic repetoire. They are more about provoking and challenging the listener rather than coddling and reinforcing. |
