My blog: "A Pirate's Tale..."

This is, of course, a NON-pirate's tale, but those distinctions quickly become lost when you are grappling with the bureaucracy...

i wonder whose job it is to come up with all the hot names for their customer service reps. I'm betting its just one person who cuts/pastes template responses into emails using IDs/names of women for effectiveness. though i doubt it matters to the users whether its a Gertrude or a Ivanka thats banning their files, i'm guessing they think it helps.

It looks like they violated their own Terms of Use and privacy policy. By accessing your private data for which you own the copyright.
I would cancel my account account and move on.
This is probably the single biggest reason why I bought a Digidelivery server.

Come on Joel, you might as well be dealing with a bot. These customer service people are just following their protocol, they are not persuaded by your humor.

You aren't going to get any kind of logical response from them, just company robots adhering to their procedure.

The reason I like this thread isn't because it shows any kind of practical answer to bureaucratic idiocy. Of course that's impossible. It's more like the satisfaction I get when reading The Onion - beyond the humor there's a odd sense of comfort in realizing that, yes, there are others on the planet who are like me.
