Clarification re Recording.org

To whom it may concern.

In the thread "A new Home for Stephen Paul" (which of course is now locked so I cannot reply there), I stated that Recording.org was charging US$1000 a month for a manufacturer to have their own Forum in the Designers Corner.

For the record, this information was delivered to me in an email from a Recording.org representative when I asked about the possibility of a Buzz forum and possible banner advertising.

Furthermore, I received an update yesterday stating that the price has risen to US$6000/mnth

It's not what you know - it's who you know.

Thank you
Tim.

I would like to apologise to Tim for posting NOT TRUE!!! in my previous post on the locked out thread as I should have used different language to clarify that I did not mean to imply that Tim was lying. Not at all. I should have used different wording. I'm sorry Tim. Please accept my apologies. For real.

Back on topic, it does seem to be a case of different strokes for different folks as one poster guessed. And I think it is pretty lame, that.

Tim, I was being really sarcastic with you. I can't believe you fell for that lol. Especially the massive price increase in two days e. Take a look at an old email you sent me about SP last year and the designers corner. That will tell you why I'm being sarcastic with you now. Sorry for posting this but you tend to rant and stroke a bit.

Best regards.

The forums are free, not fee, however, you need to be easy going for a forum.
