I'll be able to stop buying new gear when everyone stops overpaying for old gear!

But it's not just that, try to buy an API 512c on Ebay and it always gets bid up to within $50 of the street price.

i think NEW gear is the way to go . especially if your buying something and you do NOT know for sure how this unit is supposed to work . i dont want to know, how much $$$ are spended nowadays on evilbay etc. for BAD equipment .

of course if you know the gear, seller etc. in private, its different .

amen........It's good to hear that....I've heard recordings on an SSL/2"inch that are terrible and stuff on Adats that sounds great.....


THE GEARS IS NOT THE KEY!!!!!!!!!!!!! it just helps a little.......

I hear that/ I have seen people pay more on ebay for used 500 series modules then what they cost brand new~!
