Why is it an essential thing now. wasnt before. I spend way to much time drawing lines on a screen. Yeh real musical that is!. when creativity strikes I just love to get the automation tool out.....

R+B. Whats the deal with the intentional late vocals? Is it some kind of competition between R+B producers. Is it who ever delays the vocals most wins??? Just put the bloody vocals in time!!

Political correctness: Its gone mad all over the world. Im a man, I act like a man, I cant help it. I was sent here to spread my seed as much as I possibly can just like any other male mammal. Cant change 30,000 years of evolution over a few centuries. Not long ago us dudes were running around poking at anything that moved. A quick sniff, and that was it. Job well done. Aaaah fo rthe simple days. No manual, no screen, no pi slots. Just a stick, and some skins and bobs your uncle (no not talking about drummers) although as evolution goes they havent done to well.

OK so whats the story with R&B.
It used to stand for Rhythm and Blues.
I see none of that in over quantised, autotuned, over produced music, teeny boopers with perfect smiles..

I mean give me some of that early Motown stuff any day. Real singers and great feel.
Why on earth did the modern stuff get labeled that way.

I have no idea why the pop stuff has the RnB tag. I just cant stand the delayed vocals which seems to be rather fashionable right now. (quantised delayed of course) Maybe they think it adds more feel like your Motown stuff. Its not having that effect on me. Its irritating.

Musically and sonically I like it fine. No probs there.

Its just those damned late vocals. Spoils the feel.

Please tell me that the current plague of "reality shows" or "ambush TV," will go the way of "Tickle Me Elmo's," "Cabbage Patch Kids," "Furbies," etc? Like....real soon.
Someone please give me hope that the collective, mindless, vacuous masses that are awestruck by these crappy shows and all of the clones, will get a life and not be intrigued by watching contrived, preconceived, non-spontaneous bullshit pabulum that is out there reproducing like rabbits. I know they make money, but does it ONLY take a train wreck, or a person's angst and misery/embarrassment out there in the open to get a typical American consumer's attention these days? I suppose feeding Christians to the lions on LIVE TV would make the Nielsen Ratings explode. Seems like this whole world prostitutes itself for the almighty dollar, eh? Geeeesh!!! Well we have so many lifestyle programs in OZ. Lots of home improvement, garden, selling you house, holiday shows.
We also have that stupid "big brother" thing.

Its would be so much easier(hence cheaper) to make these shows, then scripts,actors etc...
The normal Joe Blow eats these things up...

We also have had a re-surge in sketch comedy shows probably as they are cheap to make as well.
