Please don't do business with Farmers insurance

That's right !!!! I won't go into my entire story here but I will give you enough to try and make my point.
I was hit by someone insured by Farmers. That person was cited for causing the accident. Farmers agreed to take liability after some serious wrangling. They are now trying to not pay the claim at this point and have tried to lowball the damage. Please don't do business with this less than honest company. Here is a link in case you want to see how they rate.

Thanks for looking

Isn't this how ALL insurance companies operate? Deny as long as possible, then try to pay out pennies on the dollar?

Not all of them. I have been involved with insurance companies in the past for similar isssues. (including being run over by a bus ) This is the first time that I have been flat out told by any of them that they will not pay for the total of the damage to the vehicle. They are now trying to deny further damage claims that were found after the initial work. (that I had to have done myself ). My own insurance companies adjuster said that what they are doing is not standard practice for this type of accident. I have contacted the Wa St insurance commision who backed that up. They are trying to intervene now.
The real sad part is that if you are insured by these slimeballs and you cause an accident, you can be sued by the other driver when they pull this kind of garbage. That unfortunatley may be the next step for me.
