The 5 crappiest band of all time

Sex Pistols
Ramones
The Clash
Midnight Oil
Def Leppard

Please do not mistake this for a personal list. This is pure facts gathered from professional listening, posted as a sharing of information. Don't try to argue with it because it would just look stupid.

Band bashing yet again ? But I swore to back off the band bashing after tormenting and ridiculing Nickelback for 2 weeks non-stop ! I am sooooo conflicted...

The bands you listed are irrelevant to the fact that you're an idiot. I smell a troll....

And don't bother arguing with me.... you would just look stupid.

This list clearly comes straight from the senior audiophiles since they are the only ones qualified to make such a statement.

I pretty much despise all those bands but that doesn't mean they are crap. It means in the eyes of another, I have no taste.

Don't be angry...it's not YOUR fault your people have been so disrespected.

Wait, I'd be angry too if effigies of me were cast nude in plastic and forced to sit atop pencils with neon hair...Hm.

Since you live under a bridge, do you own a radio?

Creed = Nickleback = Bon Jovi

It has been mathematically proven.

This thread is something else...

"A professional listening group"

Pahleeze.

You may now return to a more rational GS thread of your choice.

THE CLASH?!!

wow.

You need to look at a little thing called "context."

These bands trailblazed. With the exception of Def Leppard, who I personally hate, these bands did something that was totally new. That takes something more than technical prowess. Sure, the Ramones weren't the best players (in fact, they weren't even good), but they defined a genre.

I don't deny that there bands out there that have gotten rich while being really crappy, but you need to look at the context they were in.

.... how is that ANYTHING other than a personal list? I mean - for feks sake - you had Topper Headon in the Clash.... He's up there as one of the greats!! An amazing drummer - easily a match for just about any 70's/80's pick of the bunch.

Yeah I don't like Def Leppard... but again - gifted players.

so no - you're list is nothing BUT personal. Professional listening? I'm pretty sure that puts me above you... and that's daft no? Stupid is, stupid does....

For your dining and vomiting pleasure, I present to you, Sigue Sigue Sputnik:

But in all fairness, this was just a rehearsal. I'm sure the real performance was better.

I'm not sure what "TSA" stands for, but I think it's a Polish acronym for "Klingon Love Machine".

It's fall out boy.... not fall out boys. And although they are a terrible band, and I have heard terrible things about them in the studio, I still think there is shittier bands.

Either way, I would have to say that fall out boy is worse then Sex Pistols, Ramones, The Clash, Midnight Oil, and Def Leppard..... In-fact your list is A-LOT closer to the truth then the Strange Leaf.
