What's wrong with this company?

I have mics coming to Canada from the USofA, they smack me with a $54 brokerage fee (it's cool, I'm still a couple hundred ahead on the deal, but still, this fee is excessive....)

The kicker: 'We'll be there between 8 and 6'

I'm sorry, that's not a window. That's the whole ****ing day.

I call them ahead before the second delivery attempt and say, I won't be home before 2pm, anytime after that is FINE. They attempt delivery at 1:45. Morons. Well knock on wood they're still in one piece....

VAFFANCULO.

Same situation. I bought a swivel mount for a 451 off ebay for $50 US, the brokerage fee was around $50 Canadian. They are way off balance.F'uck UPS. I try to get stuff shipped USPS if possible to Canada because their brokerage fees are half of what UPS is sticking you with. I have ranted in another post some where but I will tell the story again. I orderd a $2500 mic pre from the US. There was a signature required and was a cod pickup for the brokerage fees ect. Those dimwits left my mic pre sitting on my deck all afternoon in plain site! WTF? Good thing it didn't rain or even worse, get stolen. They ended up mailing me the invoice later. They like to break things too, don't get me started on that one.

Less!
USPS/Canada Post brokerage is always a flat $5 regardless of the value of goods.
This is why I really like them. They have been 100% reliable for me, too.
