Multiple question emails that get an answer to only one question......

Don't ya just love when you send someone an email and you have, let's say, 3 questions that you ask....and then they reply with only an answer to the last question.

Then you send another email with 2 questions...and they only answer the last question (actually the second question from the first email).

Then you send one more question and they either don't answer it or ask, "didn't I already answer that?"

The elements of your email are too muddled together. Try high passing one of the questions and low passing another...gotta carve that frequency space for each element.

I wouldn't say the elements are muddled - it's a common problem people have these days most likely due to twitter, facebook updates and texting - people can only digest - or only take the time to digest - small bits of information and if it requires any thought or attention greater than 15 seconds or 100 letters - forget it.

1. Same thing happens to me every day

2. even when I number each question / statement

3. and put each question on a separate line

4. separated by a blank line.

usually only the first or last item is addressed. Forget it if you have presented a paragraph or 3 worth of information. very sad.

Blank lines are good, hope that answers your question.

Any time I get an email like that, I call them. I would rather talk about music than type about it.

Only exception if it is a long laundry list of things to change in a mix.
