if you wanted 15% off just take the coupon in and try to buy something and see what happens. jesus i am starting to think some gearslutz are way dumber than gc employees. yeah obvious brands won't work out, but ignore that list for the most part and take it in and see what happens. i like that fender was on your list and they sent me a special fender card for 15% off for any fender gear. or like i told someone else price match sam ash with 20% off.
yes mesa, apple, adam, bose and a couple others don't allow any retailer to discount. otherwise they scan the coupon and its easy like sunday morning, you lacked the fortitude to find out i suppose, or maybe you already get your gear cheaper somewhere and shit i understand the shit out of that. if i ever had money i would only buy used personally. just the blind broad statements are not very accurate to real life to me.

I have called its quits with GC, outside of strings and maybe a cable that I have to get today etc, for years I have only bought mainly used gear that came in the door that they don't carry to begin with, the real story is guitar center is not high end enough for my needs. GS is a much better place to buy. Also Atlanta Pro Audio that I visit a lot is much help as well.
