| My grandfather was a communications expert during WWII and used to used his HAM radio system until the day died. I'm pretty sure all that old gear got given to other (younger) HAM enthusiasts he had ended up socialising with... I guess its possible for all of our specialised audio capturing equipment to become something that only enthusiasts are into because technology passed some process' by in many years to come... oh and in regards to the thread title... I'm pretty sure it's certainty.
