Not six minutes a mix but twelve... piece of cake.

PS. If the drums already sound good and the horns are in tune you are half way there. If not you are toast.

Here is a link to one tune,

Recorded live one take...1st year jazz students. They all did about 8 tunes in 2 hours.

Download MP3 students.mp3 from Sendspace.com - send big files the easy way

Drums = mono AKG 414
Bass = DI
Nord = DI
Gat = Senn 441
Tenor = Senn 421
Soprano Senn 441
Pair rooms...Schoeps i think??
Sony oxford desk, pro tools 8 HD

As I said mixed one pass, not really any processing just HP/LP filters...(digi plugs)

Surprisingly good. Horns may be slightly loud, and the keys need to come up. Otherwise really close.

do a third,

take a break
do another third
take a break
do the last third.

don't ware out your ears.

the last marathon mixing session I did was 40 songs in 6 hours. I think when I looked back at those tracks they could have been better if I was allowed more time to really produce those tracks.....

dfegadcorporate world for deadlines.

Sounds like it worked out well, assuming the other tracks are anything like this. Nice work.
