I had a nuclear thread on here a couple of months ago about this one guy which got taken down. And yes it is just one guy. If you read any of the emails that I have from him many of which I posted, the level of conning, lying and deceit was just off the charts. He was pretending to be his own secretary, off and away in the UK, back jet setting through the States, busy filling orders from his many offices around the globe, promising free stuff then cancelling my order but keeping the money, lying about refunds for months on ends, accusing me of being a PayPal scam artist in fact trying to defraud *him*, the victim of the scam. From the emails you would think this was a large international organisation. Public business search = 1 employee - annual turnover > $50k from memory. I confirmed that with the local cops who helped me get my money back. Sorry but if you pretend to be several people with several different names, and falsify this whole pretend company structure to illicit confidence and business from consumers, IMO, not being a lawyer, that is fraud. I wouldn't dream of doing it. The dude needs to get his head on straight and stop screwing people around. In my case I fully believe he would have kept the money if he could, and had the cops not gotten involved. He's lucky IMO they did not investigate him for full on fraud, impersonation isn't legal AFAIK! In my case it was about $2175 order in question. Check the Better Business Bureau of MN they investigated it and rated him an F based on my evidence and his non-response. I wasn't going to say more publicly about it, but he promised me on the phone that this would not happen again which I seriously doubted. Sometimes when you lie to people and you think it's funny because they're so stupid they believe you, actually they don't believe you and they are thinking how stupid YOU are for being a liar. Anyway, I don't think I need to say more than that. I told you not to con more people man, I told you not to scam people or use them as unwilling collateral or whatever it is you are doing. You shouldn't be in business, find something else to do or get some principles and start living by them. I can't believe that he has done this again, even though I fully expected it. That thread and the involvement of the cops should have been enough of a warning to change his ways and get a clue and a hint about how this works. Second chance = take it and do right. If I get any insulting or abusing or threatening email from this post, I will post it here at GS. He's known for that as well. Anyway since this has come up, I'm glad to say I ordered from RealTraps (edit: after my order with this other guy was cancelled!) - couldn't be happier. I also spoke with Glen at GIK - they seem like stand up guys as well. |

Oh and yeah Jeremy it was me - thanks for remembering. If he doesn't give your money back promptly or deliver what he promised, I would call the Elk River PD. As I said, in my case it was the only thing that got any action on the last half of my money which really says a lot and I'm talking months of trying PayPal, starting threads on forums etc. They have a file on him and would like to know of any attempted fraudulent activity. Don't take any of his crap and don't take his abuse or threats of suing you and garbage like that. |

Yeah that's what pissed me off the most - the loss of time - in my case it was a LOT of time lost.

So the fact that they have my money, and I don't have my product, is pretty inflammatory. ![]() It's looking like I won't be getting a refund until later this month. We shall see.

Dude don't let him string you out like that, he did that to me for months. Don't put up with that crap that's what I can tell you from experience. Tell him you want you stuff you paid for immediately or your money immediately or call the cops PM me I'll give you the detectives name to speak to. If he's pretending like he's this older gentleman, he's not. Look him up. Absolute jackass and I feel for you man. Tell him if you want any crap out of him you'll squeeze his head. e. Seriously though if he can he'll string it out till next Christmas and... never. |

But if he were a reasonable vendor he would have called me up today apologizing or at least would have sent a non-automated e-mail. Of course this would be along with a total refund hitting my account today or tomorrow!

Right ok. Well as long as you opened the case hopefully that means whatever happens they will cover you for the money and honor their protection agreement one way or another. I believe he has more than one account on GS and no doubt, I would bet, he has read all of this. If this were about some other companies they'd be in here apologising and making right even if it was this bad. Still if you're out of pocket, then he's costing you time, so there's no excuse for any delay either way, and you shouldn't have to go through PayPal to get some action on it in the first place. I don't know about any automated emails but just remember, he's just one dude, no company structure, one address, one employee, - don't be phased. |
