General bashing/Steinberg bashing/general need of talking about your life

whatever you want to say about Live, Cubase, Steinberg and all the rest. post here if you are

1. Desperate (houswife)
2. religious-motivated DAW-user (xyz DAW über alles)
3. against Steinberg, any other company who is selling something to you
4. (mentally shaky)
5. Bash him, nail him virtually on the GS-wall.

we can talk about it right here, right now.

cheers

One of the sons in "Godfather" was named Fredo. He was a whimp. And he didn't show much sequencing tricks throughout the movie. That's all I know about Fredo.

I don't have any specific gripes against Fredo (whoever that is) or Steinberg, but Cubase 5 just saved over my project file when I went to move it to a new folder. It was vocal edits that I bounced in place to stems. In the older versions it would move all the files to a new folder and save the project file there. In 5 apparently, it saves over the project file in the "old" folder, then copies it over and saves a new project file. So all of the edits I did, all 4 hours worth of comping, moving, tuning, etc were lost... at least I know next time to save a different version of the stemmed project before moving it.
Gah I hate it when they change stuff like that!
